Best Global Universities

Thirteen indicators are being examined for the Best Global Universities list compiled by US News. Primarily, the academic recognition of higher education institutions is taken into account, within this, their ranks on the academic recognition list of Clarivate Analytics, their research results and publications, and the citation indicators of the given institution.

There are only four Hungarian higher education institutions among the first seven hundred universities worldwide: the Eötvös Loránd University, ranked 434th, the University of Debrecen, ranked 635th, the Semmelweis University ranked 682nd and the University of Szeged ranked 688th. The Budapest University of Technology and Economics was ranked 944th, while the University of Pécs 1125th.
