URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance)

The URAP rankings are compiled yearly based on the number of academic publications and their citations, academic activity (conference presentations, discussions, etc.) and the number of academic publications in collaboration with foreign universities.

The 2018/2019 rankings are led by Harvard, while six Hungarian universities were included among the top thousand. The best result of the Hungarian institutions was achieved by the Eötvös Loránd University, ranked 621th. The Semmelweis University was placed 639th, the University of Szeged 667th and the University of Debrecen 708th.

Among the European institutions, British universities were ranked at the most prestigious places: Oxford the third, University College London fifth and Cambridge seventh.
