Department of Orthopedics

The physicians working at the Department of Orthopedics regularly publish informative articles on musculoskeletal deformities and degenerative diseases in the Egészségcentrum [Health Center] magazine and regional papers. They also often appear in the local TV and radio as interviewees.

They regularly participate in general musculoskeletal and specialized sports medical screening programs. Our physicians also play an active role in the sports life of Debrecen as team doctors. The opportunities offered by orthopedics in improving the quality of life are presented in lectures in nursing homes for the elderly. At the Department of Obstetrics of the University of Debrecen Teaching Hospital we deliver annual lectures on the orthopedic aspects of infant care as part of the "Day of Birth" event series.
