Sustainable energy with the optimized integration of renewable energy sources

Academic head of project management: Kalmár Ferenc

  • Title of project: Fenntartható energetika megújuló energiaforrások optimalizált integrálásával
  • Type of grant: TÁMOP-4.2.2.A-11/1/KONV
  • Description: Due to the increase in energy consumption and the decline in energy resources, the European Union has accepted several guidelines to improve energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and to encourage widespread use of renewable energy. Besides these issues, the physical condition of buildings is another problem in Hungary: the facades and roofs of the majority of them are rather obsolete and need renovation. The research focus of the DEnzero basic research project is highly complex and covers several fields of specialization. Due to this, we established working groups in the fields of building energetics, building engineering, intelligent buildings, biomass, water management, environmental management, climate, optimal cost, environmental law, social geography and building informatics. The working groups practically implement independent projects under the leadership of Hungarian and foreign researchers, while these projects are also closely related
  • The duration of the project: January 1, 2013 – March 31, 2015
  • Actual total costs: 458.905.466 (HUF)
  • Type of research: Applied
  • Consortium details:
    • Lead applicant: University of Debrecen
    • Consortium partner: Széchenyi István University
