Imre Bán College for Advanced Studies in Cultural Sciences

The Imre Bán College for Advanced Cultural Studies is an important pillar of the talent-management activities of the University of Debrecen and together with other similar colleges of the University, it strives for the University's comprehensive talent-building program.

The primary aim of the College is to provide students with the opportunity to deepen and supplement scientific knowledge that can be interdisciplinaryly related to cultural studies. Its main duty is to develop the cultural literacy of its members with the help of the University’s lectures and invited lecturers. It wants to promote the theoretical knowledge of his members through individual research in a tutorial system.
